Description

Installing AFH and AFL series tower anchors in a concrete foundation poses some difficulties. The anchors must be placed in the foundation with quite high precision, and there is no way to correct any errors in their placement after pouring the foundation with concrete. The required precision reaches several millimeters. A turnout of more than a centimeter significantly complicates the installation of the tower and introduces initial stresses into its structure resulting from the need to stretch the welded segments to compensate for the error on the anchors. These stresses reduce the tower's load-bearing capacity and are not taken into account in static calculations - generally introducing an element of risk to the entire structure. Positioning errors of several centimeters can make it impossible to install a standard tower at all. In such a system, it is necessary to either move the anchors to the correct location (very difficult), or to design and manufacture special converters to eliminate the error (expensive). Unfortunately, even quite precise positioning of anchors in the reinforcement does not guarantee success. When pouring concrete into the reinforcement, the pressure of the dense material distorts the reinforcement mesh and moves the anchors relative to each other quite easily (and we are talking about millimeter precision). A good solution that removes a significant part of the risk is the use of templates for AluPro SKS series towers. They position the anchors relative to each other, preventing their migration relative to each other during pouring of the foundation, but also ensure the correct positioning of the screw holes in relation to the foundation and the later installed lower tower segment. Using a template means that the foundation builder must control only one factor, i.e. the parallelism of the plane of the flanges to the horizon.

The templates vary significantly in size depending on the spacing of the planned foundations. Some require stiffening and changes to suit a given project. In such a case, we price them individually. The given price applies to the three most popular formats
