Ballast masts are a good choice for temporary installations, often moved between locations (e.g. related to concert infrastructure). In the case of installation on a building, an important advantage is the lack of need to interfere with waterproof coatings on the roof. Before installation, consult the building manager about the roof load-bearing capacity - it is often significantly lower than the load-bearing capacity of the usable floors.

It is worth remembering that ballast masts cannot be overloaded by wind by hanging banners, electrical cabinets and other large surfaces. You can check the maximum permissible surface in the product specification. We recommend placing ballasts on several layers of roofing felt to prevent the roof covering from breaking on hot days when it is very flexible.

Most ballast masts are sold without weight blocks - because their transport is cost-ineffective. However, the equipment includes tightening straps to secure the ballast. As ballast, we recommend standard foundation blocks measuring 38x24x12 cm
