Description
Fill foundations are a great alternative to foundations of telecommunications structures using reinforced concrete foundations and prefabricated elements. They have the advantage over concrete foundations of speed and ease of installation - minimizing the time spent in the field by the construction team (weather issues, delegation costs). A fill foundation also beats precast concrete – minimizing the amount of equipment required. Basically, all you need to install them is an excavator. In the case of prefabricated elements, a crane or HDS is necessary to introduce the prefabricated elements into the excavation and then precisely position them relative to each other. In comparison, the backfill foundation is very light and can be easily operated by two people. AC series foundations work great in both directions - for pressing and pulling out.
Features of backfill foundations:
- For medium-sized telecommunications towers up to 20 meters high,
- Honeycomb-shaped bases, after assembly, allow for parallelism of the handles under the tower hinge, the correct distance between the handles, and symmetry of the setting. It is recommended to use the first tower section as an additional template
- Bottom plate dismantled for transport,
- Easy transport, Cones can be inserted into each other, which significantly saves space,
- The size of the bottom plate is adapted to the specific spacing of selected tower models, spacer brackets are available for other spacings.
