Description
AluPro technical manhole covers. They are used to mask floor and ceiling hatches where both spaces are separated by a roof. The flap structure is adapted to floors covered with parquet or terracotta. The frame with the hatch is mounted in the opening at level "0" below the actual floor (terracotta / boards), the hatch surface should be finished with the same material as the rest of the floor - this makes the hatch aesthetic and invisible.
Functional diagram:
The flap has a rotating sleeve hinge and is mounted on two gas springs. The power of the gas springs should be matched to the weight of the hatch finish (wood is lighter than ceramics with cement glue). Suggested spring powers in the table. The flap opens after overcoming the force of the magnetic lock (neodymium and sheet metal). Breaking the magnet triggers the process of automatic lifting of the flap. The flap stops in the open position. Closing the flap involves applying a force that breaks the moment of the gas springs until it closes by re-contacting the magnet with the sheet metal. The opening action is initiated by screwing the screw into the hole in the flap and pulling it upwards (the through hole in the flap skin must be maintained).
