The rope equalizer is a connecting element designed for telecommunications masts. It connects all ground guy anchors (Mantaray system, GA-1 Alupro buried anchors and similar) based on rods or strings, with a series of mast guy ropes brought to the anchors. Equalizers distribute the load on the anchor rod symmetrically, preventing the formation of forces trying to bend the rod. Their second feature is the equalization of forces between the mast guy ropes in a situation where these ropes were tensioned in different ways, or during the use of the mast they stretched to different degrees (due to different rope lengths, differences in weave, material differences). An additional advantage is the provision of convenient installation space between subsequent guy ropes (easy to tighten rope clamps, space for convenient tension adjustment using turnbuckles). The final advantage of using equalizers is the elegance of assembly and the ease of clarifying excess rope without the impression of chaos. The EQM series consists of 4 products, the number in the product code indicates the number of guy ropes that a given equalizer can accept. Equalizers for high masts are available on request (e.g. for 10 guy rope levels).
