System fundamentów stalowych masztowych to połączenie kotew gruntowych GA-1 i podstawy masztowej MB-1. Rozwiązanie to ma szereg zalet bijących na głowę inne metody fundamentowania masztów. Po pierwsze fundamenty można transportować zwykłym samochodem dostawczym i są relatywnie lekkie. Niska masa powoduje, że można je instalować w wykopie ręcznie, bez użycia ciężkiego sprzętu. Stalowa prefabrykowana konstrukcja powoduje, że można gotowy zasypany fundament obciążyć natychmiast po jego wykonaniu (szybka instalacja masztu). Fundamenty tej serii podobnie jak wszystkie inne - nie powinny być stosowane w glebach o wysokiej plastyczności (gliny, iły) bez wymiany lub ulepszenia gruntu. Przy gruntach spoistych kotwa GA-1 może pracować pod powierzchnią wód gruntowych - należy jednak pamiętać wtedy o uwzględnieniu spadku masy balastującej ziemi o wyporność wody (zgodnie z prawem Archimedesa) i skompensować to głębokością instalacji kotwy. System Fundamentowania MB-1/GA-1 nadaje się tylko do masztów telekomunikacyjnych i nie służy do fundamentowania wież.
