M400 series service truss

Like any engineering structure, lattice masts are subject to wear and damage. Damage can result from structural overloading, installation errors, freeze-thaw cracks caused by clogged drainage channels in the mast, etc. Due to the mast’s modular design, damage usually affects only a single section, which can be easily replaced to ensure the system remains functional and safe. AluPro offers replacement lattice sections for all series of masts it manufactures. The available lattice sections are categorized by length—primarily S2 and S4, corresponding to lattice lengths of 2 and 4 meters. Another classification is based on the truss’s location within the mast. We distinguish between lower sections (converging, symmetrical)—the so-called mast “legs”—and another version consisting of converging, asymmetrical lower sections—these are the “legs” of wall-mounted masts. Finally, we distinguish between straight trusses—which form the main body of the mast. When placing an order, please specify the correct code for the variables described above (see the drop-down menu with prices). Service sections are made from tubes with wall thicknesses corresponding to the base wall thicknesses of tubes in standard poles of a given series; the wall thickness is 2 mm. For tall masts (over 30 meters), the wall thicknesses of the sections may vary—thicker-walled tubes in the lower part of the mast, with thinner tubes used higher up. If a section of a tall mast is to be replaced, please specify when ordering the height of the mast on which the lattice will be installed and at what height. This will help us select a model whose specifications are perfectly suited to the intended application.
