The truss pole refers to street lamps of the "Pastorałka" type, but in an industrial, modern form. The bold design makes this pole suitable for installation in modern housing estates, near modern office buildings or other representative spaces - with a modern form. The pole is equipped with a sheet metal frame with space for standard rectangular LED street lighting modules. The type of module is left to the investor to choose - the pole will be prepared for the specified module (cutting and hole spacing). The installation and commissioning of the luminaire can be entrusted to AluPro. It is possible to order a visualization of the pole with the frame of your choice - we provide 3D files for the needs of renderings of architectural offices. Suggested foundation – concrete block 0.8×0.5×1.2 meters + glued M12 pins (chemical anchor). The power supply for the lamp can be supplied through the truss curb pipe.

Applications of the PS550 Pole

The PS550 light pole is a 5.5-meter aluminum lattice structure with a triangular cross-section (300×400 mm), whose design is inspired by the classic “Pastorałka” streetlamp — but with a modern, industrial twist. The lamp, set at a 30° angle from the horizontal, directs the beam precisely onto the illuminated surface at the optimal angle of the luminaire’s tilt.

  • Access roads and avenues – A 30° angle illuminates the roadway or sidewalk without dazzling drivers; a proven layout for asphalt roads 4–7 m wide.
  • Modern Housing Developments – The “Pastorałkowy” character fits into the architectural narrative of these 19th-century-inspired neighborhoods, reimagined in a modern style.
  • Parking lots at office buildings and hotels – The triangular cross-section enhances torsional stiffness; the pole does not bend under the weight of heavy vehicles parked nearby.
  • Pedestrian and recreational areas – Raw aluminum or RAL paint finishes complement any color palette in the designed space.

Key technical features

  • Triangular cross-section, 300×400 mm – higher torsional stiffness than a square truss of the same mass; better resistance to lateral wind moments.
  • Lighting angle: 30° from the horizontal – ideal for roadways and sidewalks; the lamp is directed toward the road, minimizing upward light spill (light pollution).
  • Weight: 53 kg · aW6082 Aluminum – Steel does not rust, aluminum does not corrode; ready for installation without any surface finishing.
  • Support tube 50×2 · grating 20×2 – a curb-mounted lattice pipe serving as a cable duct; no external pipes or cables visible.
  • Flange, 126 Mm diameter · 3 holes – compatible with standard foundations for 5–6-meter light poles.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How does the PS550 differ from the PB550?
The PS550 has a 30° tilt from the horizontal (angled), which works well on roads and sidewalks with an extended illumination zone. The PB550 positions the lamp perpendicular to the illuminated surface (90°)—a more photometrically efficient configuration used in parking lots and plazas where higher luminance is required directly beneath the pole.

What kind of LED module can I use?
The slot in the metal housing accommodates standard rectangular LED street lighting modules. The cutout and hole spacing are customized at the time of order to match the module selected by the client.

Is it possible to install them in a row?
Yes—the standard flange and repeatable design allow for mass installation in a row with identical foundation spacing. AluPro provides 3D files for renderings by architectural firms.
