Applications of the 2×MKZ5025-6 Lighting Gateway
The 2×MKZ5025-6 Lighting Arch is a set of two MKZ5025-6 tapered aluminum posts (6 m) connected by a 6 mm diameter stainless steel cable. The cable is tensioned using turnbuckles and stainless steel cable clamps, forming a horizontal beam on which lighting fixtures can be suspended—creating an entrance arch over a road, alley, or service road.
- Entrance gates and driveways – Two poles on either side of the road, with a cable supporting LED fixtures, replace truss gantries—a lighter and less expensive solution for lanes up to 12 meters wide.
- Parking Zone Markings and Parking Lanes – An illuminated gate visually marks the entry zone or parking section without the need to build intermediate foundations.
- Festival and event venues – Two posts included, ready for quick assembly and disassembly; the tension-adjustable rope adapts to different road widths (turnbuckles).
- Internal roads at industrial facilities – Convergent aluminum truss structure resistant to vibrations from heavy vehicles; no corrosion in chemically aggressive environments.

How many light fixtures can be hung on a line?
A 6 mm diameter stainless steel cable, when pre-tensioned using turnbuckles, can support several kilograms. Typical 50–150 W LED streetlights weigh 3–8 kg. If you plan to suspend more than 3 fixtures, please consult us regarding the load capacity—we can reinforce the cable or recommend using two parallel cables.
At what road width does the gate work effectively?
The spacing between the posts can be specified as desired when placing an order. A 6 mm diameter stainless steel cable has optimal deflection for spans of up to approximately 10–12 m. For wider openings, a thicker cable or an intermediate post may be used.
Does the gate require a building permit?
